Italy is mecca for the fashion lover and designer obsessed. As much as I enjoyed walking into every posh store or adorable little boutique, I largely found myself drooling over every last gorgeous piece, which was often out of budget.
So, I was super psyched to discover that every Sunday, there is a flea market in the north suburbs of Rome. It’s outside the usual tourist radius, so it a perfect chance to mingle with the locals, enjoy the sunshine, and stroll through stand after stand of vintage (and sometimes not-so-vintage) clothing, accessories, and jewelry, most of which were of designer make.
If you shopping makes you hungry, there’s even a little stand serving coffee and “street food,” in the market for you to enjoy or you could settle down into one of the adorable little cafes down Via Flaminia and people-watch the locals on their usual Sunday morning routine.
