My love for fashion can be easily summed up by one quote by Bill Cunningham, the original street-style photographer, “Fashion is the armor to survive the reality of everyday life.”
I can’t tell you how many times the meetings on my calendar has informed the outfit I pull in the morning. First time meeting a client? Pull a simple but chic look, probably in the black and white category. A mundane day of meetings? Push the personal fashion envelope and wear something out of the ordinary. A hot and humid day with a big team dinner to cap off the day? Silk mumu. Tough meeting? Wear something fierce.
My fashion choices are rarely about keeping up appearances; they’ve become a reflection of who I need to be for the day. Inward out and outward in. So, when I need to feel like a feminine badass, this dress is it for me. It’s silky smooth to the touch but the unexpected cheetahs redefine animal print. The midi length makes it classy but I added the structured gold belt, reflected in the earrings as well, for a little bit of unexpected flair and to channel my inner Wonder Woman. If the gold isn’t for you, it does come with a matching fabric belt. Oh, did I mention it has pockets? Sold.
