As the calendar days of summer count down, everyone is still trying to squeeze in one more hurrah – birthdays, brunches, happy hours, picnics… you name it. With the weather in August still holding onto the heat and humidity, I love this top because it’s so versatile. Paired with shorts, like I wore here, I’m ready for almost any summer outing. It’s subtly sexy, with the all-over cutouts, but nothing over the top, given that it’s really just a button up. The built-in ventilation is a bonus! In the coming weeks, I can’t wait to restyle this tunic-length top with a pair of black skinny pants and a statement moto jacket, like this one. Can we say transition piece?!
I’m also excited to introduce a new series, highlighting amazing women who are in/around the fashion industry. Not only do they inspire fashion, but they embody style themselves. The first post will be published next week, featuring Eva from Printed Wild who handmade the clutch featured in this post!
Top: COS
Bottoms: Target, so old. Similar here and here.

Love the “built in ventilation” lol. Summer might be ending but you’re right, it’s still hot! Cute look!
