Thanksgiving isn’t really a thing in my family.
Being vegetarian and Indian, the whole turkey thing was lost on us. It’s really just a regular Thursday with a dinner table filled everyone’s favorite Indian dishes. I guess when you think about, it’s still a family gathered at the table to enjoy some good food. It’s still in the spirit of Thanksgiving, sans the entire extended family.
I’m most excited to have a few days off from work, especially with a looming deadline next week. With my family being in the area, I don’t have to have to fight traffic or travel far. I plan on maximizing that time saved by napping and tackling the giant to-do list I’ve created in order to finish out 2018 strong. Maybe I’ll throw in a few movies/some Netflix catch up time, somewhere in there.
If you’re actually celebrating Thanksgiving and still can’t decide on what to wear, I’d suggest a good sweater dress because A.) no waistband, giving you optimal room to epic amounts of food and B.) will keep you warm since the weather forecast looks fairly ‘artic’ this year. It’s also my favorite. It’s also a great winter staple. I’ve linked this dress, along with a few others I’m loving right now.
