Daylight savings happened and I have no idea what time it is, where I am, or what I’m doing. I also don’t what season it is. One day it’s 70 degrees and the next morning there’s a cold bite in the air. My office is an old warehouse, so there are microcosms of climate every five feet and it usually means I’m cold regardless. Needless to say, this makes it SO HARD to get dressed in the morning.
Personally, I desperately want it to be spring; mostly for the weather, not for the pastel colors, it heralds into everyone’s wardrobe. But in the meantime, I’m happy to reach for this duster to help me get through these transitional weeks. It’s warm, but that pop of color feels so bright and happy. It’s spring but not spring. Just like the season.
Honestly, this is one of my favorite recent discoveries, one that I wish I found last year so I had more chances to wear it. It may be too warm for some of you, but I still suggest snagging it for next year because it’s that perfect comfy, cozy but still polished piece that you can throw on and still wow. You can dress it up with boots or wear it casual with a pair of chucks as I did. Not to mention, it has pockets (WIN) and catches the breeze when you walk so you feel like a superhero/total badass.
P.S. I’m well aware that these photos are a little over the top, BUT HOW COOL ARE THE LIGHTS IN THE LENS REFLECTION. Art is fashion. Fashion is art.
